چکیده
Abstract The usefulness of error-related potentials (ErrPs) for control in non-invasive Brain-Computer interface (BCI) research has been established over the last decades. To continuously correct erroneous action an end effector (e.g., robot arm) a BCI however, these neural correlates relating only to discrete perception errors remain problematic. Using pre-recorded dataset offering feedback 2D tracking task different or conditions, we analyzed whether error processing during continuous can be observed from electroencephalogram (EEG). Within this comprising 30 sessions recordings, were able detect significant differences between and conditions. Furthermore, minimal difference two conditions is reported, confirming direct connection cognitive response.

Bounded-error identification for closed-loop systems
This paper presents a scheme for the identification of a system which operates in closed-loop and in the presence of bounded output disturbances. Two algorithms are proposed to solve this identification problem. The first algorithm is an Optimal Bounding Ellipsoid (OBE) type algorithm. This first algorithm is analyzed and sufficient conditions for stability and convergence are established. Rela...
متن کاملClosed-Loop Adaptation for Robust Tracking
Model updating is a critical problem in tracking. Inaccurate extraction of the foreground and background information in model adaptation would cause the model to drift and degrade the tracking performance. The most direct but yet difficult solution to the drift problem is to obtain accurate boundaries of the target. We approach such a solution by proposing a novel closed-loop model adaptation f...
متن کاملFluctuations in closed-loop fluorescent particle tracking.
We present a comprehensive theory of closed-loop particle tracking for calculating the statistics of a diffusing fluorescent particle's motion relative to the tracking lock point. A detailed comparison is made between the theory and experimental results, with excellent quantitative agreement found in all cases. A generalization of the theory of (open-loop) fluorescence correlation spectroscopy ...
متن کاملContinuous-time subspace identification in closed-loop
This paper deals with the problem of continuoustime model identification and presents a subspace-based algorithm capable of dealing with data generated by systems operating in closed-loop. The algorithm is developed by reformulating the identification problem from the continuous-time model to an equivalent one to which discrete-time subspace identification techniques can be applied. More precis...
متن کاملDC servomechanism parameter identification: a Closed Loop Input Error approach.
This paper presents a Closed Loop Input Error (CLIE) approach for on-line parametric estimation of a continuous-time model of a DC servomechanism functioning in closed loop. A standard Proportional Derivative (PD) position controller stabilizes the loop without requiring knowledge on the servomechanism parameters. The analysis of the identification algorithm takes into account the control law e...
